Located in the heart of the Rhondda Valley, South Wales, G7 aim to offer the very best in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training. Affiliated through Professor Pedro Bessa and led by head coach, Gavin Thomas, the G7 team are growing from strength-to-strength, week-by-week.
G7 BJJ Academy
Here at G7 we offer exemplary Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction. Whether it be to simply get fit, learn self-defence, or to compete at the highest level of the sport, we have a very friendly and welcoming team who are happy to guide you, whatever your level.
Our competition team are active in the UK and all over Europe. We also have our kids team competing on a regular basis, who regularly bring home medals from the Welsh BJJ Kids League.

Our Head Instructor
Gavin Thomas (brown belt) is our head instructor and founder of the G7 BJJ Academy. A fierce competitor and multiple IBJJF and UAEJJF medalist, Gavin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the mats at the academy.
